Thanks so much to Everyone who left a comment on my last post about my Visual Journaling class. I've been inspired ever since and made a couple more pages this past week.
My friend Terry had these really cool "naked lady" playing cards she was sharing. I took a couple knowing I'd want to incorporate them into one of my journal pages. They are just sort of floating there but I think they're fun!
Here is the girl's body that I used as my jumping off point for my page. I love getting catalogs in the mail and thought that this model's body would be fun to use. As you can see, I quickly got rid of her purse and did some embellishing to make her a little edgier.
Love her little fishnet gloves!
And here is another one... her body is from the same catalog with a different head of course. I enjoy mixing and matching pieces to create something new.
Happy Monday! And how can it be that Fall officially begins this Saturday, the 22nd? I'm thrilled about that although I don't think we'll be feeling it for quiet sometime as it's been over 100 many days recently.
I'm dying to wear my boots!

I couldn't believe it when I was watching the Emmy's and they said it was 125 on the carpet! WOW! Isn't that unusually HOT for you all??
